Unlike almost all other on-line vendors of hammocks, we have a STORE. We are located in the heart of the city of Vancouver - part of the Granville Island Market. We have been selling hammocks for over 15 years.
We began importing handcrafts from Central and South America in 1982 - to supply our store in Vancouver - NOAH'S BLIMP - and also for wholesale through Gift Shows in western Canada. Ceramics, glassware, paper maché, weavings, folk art and hammocks were all part of our inventory. We started with a small selection of high quality, traditional Mayan hammocks, which sold very well.

In 1989 we developed our own version of a chair hammock - THE HANG OUT, and this has been our biggest seller from day one. For several years in the early 90's, we sold our products throughout Western Canada at Boat Shows, Garden Shows, Folk Festivals and other outdoor events such as the Calgary Stampede. Since 1995, we have been permanently set up on Granville Island, Vancouver's premier tourist location.
